Just one of those days

What is a day if you can't laugh at yourself? Today is one of those days. I've been busy with trying to configure space and budget. On the phone with one of the prison librarians, I was calculating how many hours I need for substitute librarians for one of the prisons.

Twice the phone cut off. The first time the librarian and I said we did not know what happened. The second time it happened, I realized that I was using the telephone dial pad for a calculator!! No wonder the phone cut off.

"Time for you to go home", the librarian on the other end said amidst laughter, after I confessed I was the culprit.

As I said, it was just oneothosedays.
